Before school started we grabbed a dozen donuts, headed up the hill and took in a Sound of Idaho Marching Band rehearsal. Our dear friend Rachel is a freshman at UI and a trombone player So of course we wanted to see her.

| I asked if the band would play "Go Vandals" for the kids. Spencer readily complied and they snappily blew us the tune. |

| The girls got to go out on the field. Apparently they needed to get down to fully enjoy the experience. |

| For lunch break we to a picnic lunch to The Tower, saw Rachel's room and got to chat for a bit. |
Good work, Emily! If you want them to have a bright future (Vandal Marching Band), you have to show it to them early.
